Community Arts Culture Grants

Community Arts Culture Grants

King Valley Arts (KVA) has been proud to offer small grants to enrich the King Valley arts culture.  We look forward to offering these grants again in the near future.

King Valley Arts is the organising group behind the King Valley Art Show which is held previously on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend.  Formerly known as King Valley Art Show, in 2018 we became King Valley Arts to fulfil a long-held ambition of the group and to better reflect our expanded activities. These include live shows under King Valley Arts Presents, Film Club, an annual donation to the King Valley School Cluster for art-based experiences, funding subscriptions for art magazines at Wangaratta Library and these Arts Culture Grants (offered since 2014).

The purposes of the Arts Culture Grants are to:

  • benefit the King Valley community (King Valley Wine region),
  • bring arts to the King Valley community,
  • engage local people in cultural activities,
  • provide opportunity for community members to undertake cultural and art activities in the King Valley
